One team for the whole system — hardware, firmware, software and wireless, owned end to end.

Who we are

Kliskatek solves problems that need hardware, firmware, software and wireless/RF to work together — across domains that are usually split between different companies, including the physical and control layer: sensors, PLC, mechanics.

Our team has spent 17 years working at exactly that intersection. That is the rare part. Plenty of teams know software, or RF, or sensors. Very few understand how those domains interact inside a single system, and can own the result instead of a slice of it.

Where we come from

Kliskatek was founded in March 2023 in Hernani, in the Basque Country, by the engineering team behind Farsens, a battery-free RFID sensing company started in 2008. We kept working on the technology we know best, and built the company we wanted around it.

Track record

Silicon in the field

An aerospace tier-1 qualified and flew silicon our team designed. A leading tyre manufacturer piloted over 10,000 sensor tags built on it, in elite competition.

The system around the chip

A chip designer came to us for the test platform around their own silicon — sockets, currents, voltages and RF. A different discipline from designing the chip.

Beyond the electronics

A suspension manufacturer’s test machines run on control software we wrote: hydraulics, PLC, sensors and the test spec, owned as a single system.

Our SDKs are published on GitHub under the MIT licence. Kliskatek is the local host, together with Tecnun (University of Navarra), of IWSA 2026 — the international workshop on wireless sensing held in San Sebastián on 21–23 October.

How we work

We design in house — electronics, RF, antennas, firmware and software — and partner for everything else: mechanical design, environmental testing, certification and manufacturing. That keeps the team small and senior: the people you talk to are the people who do the work.

We are selective about what we take on. We are the right team when a project crosses domains and no single supplier will own the result — and we will tell you when we are not.
